- 2008 ve commodore sv6
This is my 2008 ve sv6 ly7 commodore supercharged. It was a stock well looked after car with 270000km 6 speed manual when purchased the only issue was the beginnings of a worn timing chain apart from that car was like new. I started with extractors, high flow cats and rear muffler delete then custom bonnet sprayed at home carbon fibre bumper inserts front and rear. Then mace cams, lifters, rockers and crp6 manifold, orrsom otr and a 880nm semi organic clutch, carbon fibre steering wheel and dash inserts, icc upgrade and 6 speaker system with head unit and 6500 watt amp from memory. Ve gts seats and door cards. Suspension wise munroe lowered short travel shocks, king springs in front and pedders springs at the rear and front and rear whiteline adjustable sway bar and linkages and all whiteline nolathane bushes. Ve v8 lsd with custom cv's and 3.9 hsv diff gears, brakes dba hd4000 rotors and bendex performance pads. Throttle body GOSS performance faster action, 621cc injectors, 325lph high flow fuel pump and mace throttle controller and the best v3 sealed trim intercooled capa supercharger running at 12psi at 7000rpm producing 330rwkw. It's taken 3 years and a lot of time on the tools. Tuning is the only thing not done by me. Just last week I added the vf gtsr staggered wheels and I am fitting a w427 front bumper should have it sprayed by weeks end I will update the images. Also deleted all stock pcv lines and modified rocker covers to stop oil splash and to improve existing gases and upgraded oil lines to the catch can both rocker covers have 22mm lines, so no oil makes it into the intake and no oil lose. I'm happy to answer any questions that you might have about any stage of my build.
