    Once I'd got the TM oil in I did run it on stands in reverse and drive to try and mix the oil round the TM before I got it warm enough to check at the drain plug. About a litre came out before it dripped but yeah was out on the road straight after...

    I do but switching it off does nothing... Tomorrow I'll get that plug plugged back in and 1) the P0030 will go away and 2) she'll hopefully run smoother, which in turn will probably make it quieter. Will go for the sound / heat shield the next day.

    EUREKA!!!! I was sliding the brown thing back and fwd and the wife said the gears were going from P, R, N, D so thought there must be some way of linking this brown thing to the cog... Need to drop the big mechanism thing and get that A into B, do up and adjust linkage and I'll be there...

    Yeah if I was doing it all the time I'd have sommit like LEX has, but I REALLY don't want to be, I have aesthetic stuff like door cards to cover and some paint work. THEN I may look into a bigger cam or even a turbo, maybe both plus supercharger... Nah, she's quick enough for me tbh..
