Anyone had issues with the stock reverse camera? Mines got lines going through it, also seems like it’s low quality compared to the mylink and the static-ish lines make it really hard to see at night

Yeah I’m pretty sure mine did to, plugged into that black looking plug that came out of here and then into what the little card said was the 4pin usb port on the unit maybe I didn’t seat it correctly will recheck today

So far everything works except the factory usb port in the center console, not sure if I plugged something in wrong or if that’s expected but going to have a crack at getting that to work later today

Shows as 13 in the android settings menu, unless there’s somewhere else I should be looking

Yeah sounds like that’s something that’s needed then. Have checked with the seller and he’s confirmed it’s android 13 and comes with CANBUS box, think that’ll do it for me, going to grab one and will report back once installed

Am I right with that the CANBUS module is really just for those factory settings that comes with the mylink? Have seen some people suggest that you just make sure your settings are how you want them before removing the mylink and it should be fine?

Yeah and at this price + eBay discount almost can’t go wrong for $200 thinking I’m going to roll the dice, only thing is if it has the loom for the factory camera but I’ve seen it’s not hard to convert the camera to a RCA plug if needed

Where did you see android 10? I could only see 13 mentioned in the description and the about section

Back again! Check engine light and codes come back, Likely taking it up soon for a bit more of a look over, have noticed a slight petrol smell when starting which from what I’ve read is likely due to the purge solenoid Wanting to check if I’m either just hearing things or just not car savvy...

Well it’s back, Went to leave for work today and boom, check engine light is back, exactly 1 week since the service and they cleared it. Going to drop past a small mechanic this morning and get them to take a look at it, don’t really trust the Holden service centre to do more then just clear it...

Put my 2014 VF in for a service, Holden service centre ( I know this was my first mistake ) had a special “Essential Service” deal. Comes back all good, brakes and tyres need to be done soon, Nothing else mentioned when picking it up. Get in the car, Turn it over and a check engine light pops...

Finally got it sorted, took it too a mates, got it jacked up tried the shoe adjustment and no dice. Took the rotor off, there was no pad left on the RH side shoe, the LH side had some pad but a most of it was gone. Replaced both shoes, readjusted the cable and voila, a working parking brake!

Think top gear did it for us a few years ago (not the good top gear mind you)

From what I've read with the way these EPB systems work, more often people drive off with it engaged and let it do the "auto EPB release" and this places more wear on the parking shoe over time

Yeah I think being able to chock three wheels and have the wheel and jack stands on the one side at a time would be best, I might not miss an arm/hand but I reckon the missus wouldn't be to happy with me

Yeah car rolls when in neutral while EPB says it’s “on” but releasing the brake it just rolls forwards. When engaging and disengaging it I can hear it doing it’s thing, but the moment your foot comes off the brake it’s almost like the EPB isn’t even applied
