304 cam selection & where to buy

Check out Camtech Cams website mate. Great range of cams & good website with lots of info. You should always replace the lifters with new ones when doing a cam change. If you don't want to change the valve springs then I wouldn't go any bigger than the CT248 527. Either 1 of those first 2 would...

    Is 9.5:1 to high

Just as a comparison for you, LS1's run 10:1 standard from factory and there are bolt on kits out there design to pump 10psi easy. You would definately want to run MLS or copper head gaskets & head stud kit. Forgies wouldn't hurt either.

    304 Roller cam blocks prefix

VT 350 Engine buildup I would like to confirm that I have found evidence that some of the later VS block were cast as rollers with the higher lifter bores as you can compare the 2 block from my previous link of a VS block to this link of a VT block build up. 304 Roller cam blocks prefix

So does anybody know what the height differnce is on the lifter bores between the roller block and the flat tappet blocks? I've seen some earlier efi blocks and the lifter bores are quite low with almost nothing raised of the cam tunnel casting. But the VU66**** prefix block I seen, the lifter...

    304 Roller cam blocks prefix

G'day everyone, can anybody tell me if any of the VS 304/355 efi's were roller's? I've been looking for detailed specs on the VU*** engine number prefix but I've only found that it's from VN-VS models. I found a couple of blocks that are factory relieved for stroker cranks and also have higher...
