Sorted guys thanks for all your help was a wider rim checked all 4 of them 2 wider ones at the back the 2 narrow ones at the front dont really know why they would have swapped the front tyre around like that at a shop but atleast it is fixed now

You cant rotate the wheel at all but where it rubs it indicates right around the wheel not on the tyre at all just the rim itself i will get a picture of it and the rim did come off the car to get a new tyre fitted

I've sorted it thanks turned out the tensioner didn't pop out so there was slack in the chain thanks thow.

So im pulling tha timing cover off again tomorrow just wanted to ask should I start again and do all the chains or just reset stage 2 timing chain.

Yeah all chains replaced turned over by hand about 24 times to make sure nothing touched everything seemed like it lined up fine.

No both handbrake shoes and rotors are brand new but repco didnt have a listing fro monaro brake shoes so there for a vx ss commodore but look exactly the same as the ones on the monaro ive tried adjusting the cable with still no luck
