    Dipstick question

Your oil shouldnt all of a sudden not show on the dipstick. Have you checked for a leak? All engines consume a small amount over time but not that much between oil changes. I would fill it to the correct level /amount and monitor how much it goes down by and investigate why.

Fitting a rear VE spoiler to my VE Berlina (Series 1)

Make sure you measure twice and drill once when fitting that rear wing
  22. glennho

    Keep resonators or mufflers?

I removed the rear mufflers and put hotdog tailpipes in place. I also put 2 x 9” hotdogs in the rear of the centre section similar to the stock setup and it made it louder but not droney. I still have the front single muffler in place aswell. Lukey 2.5 m/s system.

    VE omega muffler delete

Have you ever eaten hot curry and the next day your arse make those horrible farty bubbly sounds. Well thats how your car will sound if you put that exhaust pipe on it!

    VE SS CAM

A big lumpy cam in a manual will make it a pig to drive if its a daily. Sure it will sound good idling at the lights but in traffic , stop ,start etc? Go for something more streetable. Talk to a couple of speed shops or tuners and see what they recommend.

    VE HSV Headers Install

I made up my own 200 cell cats to fit HSV headers a few years back. Just made up a jig using the HSV cats to get size and flanges in the right spot then made the new cats to suit. If you can weld it isnt that hard.

[VE] How To Disassemble VE/WM Door Card's

When i took my door cards apart to recover them i used a 10 mm drill bit to remove the top off the plastic welds. I used small screws with washers to replace the plastic welds. Didn’t think to use a hot glue gun to replace the welds
  37. glennho

    VE Commodore

From memory you need to remove these screws and plastic welds to remove the arm rest.
