It's not running yet....been having injector pulse issues since the motor went back in. Won't fire the injectors.

Choosing a cam cause it sounds good... :banghead:
You'd wana have a good converter around the 4000rpm to get that thing up to the sweet spot of the torque cure

Clearly didnt read the thread. Want a nice sounding cruiser rather then a powerhorse.. I ride the putty every day for work..

Well its coming together slowly. As i can only buy pieces per week. I received the stroker kit:
Scat i-beam rods with arp bolts and crank
Federal Mogul/ speed pro pistons (flat top with 5cc reliefs) and moly rings
ACL race mains
Mahle conrod bearings
Dura-bond 0.002 undersize cam bearings
welsh plugs

In the next 2 weeks looking at ordering the cam kit and getting a bottom end balance and assembly. This is the cam kit im looking at:
Holden V8 308 304 EFI 5 0L CAM Package Crane Hydraulic Great Range YOU Choose | eBay

Also had a look at your vid NAAF, ill wait for next vid of normal idle before purchasing cam as i do want it lumpy.

hey seq4x4, What about the 284 cam on that link you posted.
I reckon that would be your best option from that list, Decent cam without going overkill.
I always prefer to err on the side of caution with cams, actually, maybe 276 will be good, LOL (276 has tighter LCA)

actually stuff it, maybe you should get a custom ground cam; maybe 45-55deg overlap, 108-110 LCA, .500 valve lift (or maybe more if you want to rebuild it sooner)
What do you think mr J-man

Oh yeah, that's right, OP wants lumpy and high rpm cam, therefore I agree with Delcowizzid, 355+big cam=NO BANANAS

Wasnt going to but the bannanas back on. Im undecided about maifolds currently. Only discovered you can still run TBs using a hate on carby manifolds.
