If I get a chance I’ll have a dig around later and see if I can find the relative diagrams for you and post them.
That'd be greatly appreciated, normally I'd just nut it out but with the price of adventra parts I don't want to blow it

lol. I was just going through it all now.
Like this, you should be able to view the pdf's on your phone.
*Not wiring but might handy.

On the boot thing. My Cross 8 and Crewman both have the wiring up to the glove box but no button. Also the boot release wire goes up to the rear harness plug and is then blanked.

@lout Clear as mud xD looks like I might just have to bypass the controll module and use a standard wiper motor.

@Fu Manchu you should be able to slap a button in the x8 and have it pop the glass, id imagine it runs off the same signal at the bcm, on my wagon it didn't have the wire so after adding a pin at the bcm and button in the glovebox it all works as it should.

Thanks for all the pics and doccos guys, I'll have a dig through them and see how far I get, might document it all if I get it working right.

As it stands the only thing that doesn't work is the wiper, that's fine for me because the boots just about packed to the roof every day.

if you have the rear module, the wiring looks easy
much easier than the impressive body work you have done

From the looks of it the green wire at the module is just the trigger wire for the wipers, not sure at this point but the "diag rear wipers" pdf that Fu Manchu posted is a goldmine, not just of diagrams but diagnostic testing so I can use that to make sure I've actually got it wired up right xD

Hold my beer. I’ll have a crack at the diagrams. Gotta take the woof for a walk first.

@Fu Manchu
Yeah that sounds fun...

After looking at the diags would I be wrong in assuming that the l green wire to the wiper module would be the feed/ trigger wire from the wiper relay?

Yes, yes it is the trigger wire, I now have a working rear wiper and all functions work, except the auto park, that can come later.
