2016 ssv redline wagon
Thanks for the feedback guys. Apologies I’ve been offline. All I know is it’s a loom plug that I need for a 2016 ssv redline wagon. It sounds like the plug connects about 12 wires throughout the car. I’m not very mechanically minded and hoped i provided enough info with the image. I have been told by the panel beater the part is no longer being made and he can’t find one. It’s about $1000 or thereabouts. It is located in the door seal of the drivers side door.

Looks like a loom?

We will need some sort of description of what it’s from, is, does.

If it’s a loom, why can’t it be repaired?

Also, what situation occurs for this to happen?

The vehicle was involved in an accident where damage was sustained to the driver side suspension and front quarter. Everything else is a simple repair except replacing the plug that apparently got damaged

The plug is easily replaceable. All plugs have a manufacturer and type and are used throughout the automotive industry. A special tool that any workshop would have releases the wires from the plug and the plug is replaced.

Might be a $60 plug at the most. Pins pushed into the new plug and good to go.

They could easily take the loom to an auto sparkie to complete that job.

Heaps of wreckers would have that loom complete.

Even if the loom has a different part number, a wrecker loom could be used for spares and an auto electrician make what is a simple repair.
I doubt there’s any difference in the looms regardless of part numbers.
