Are the rubber key fob buttons worth changing or a waste of money?

I have 2 original keys for my VX SS, they are 13 years old but the car has only done a little over 80,000km so the batteries in the keys still seem to be ok, both remotes work fine but the rubber buttons on both are stuffed, I am tossing up whether these replacement rubber buttons are worth fitting or whether a waste of money, ie will fall out with use, also I had a look on the Polimex web site and they are now asking $13 per key, on ebay there are heaps for like $2 a key, has anyone replaced their key buttons and who did you buy from and were they a success or a waste of money? Appreciate your thoughts.

waaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper than a new fob, they are merely "ok" in my books (but also way cheap).

There heaps of sellers just use a Australasian seller IMO but it comes down to what colour you want too there's heaps but range from $2-4.
