Best tool & favourite tool

After today's effort on the cooks car, my favorite tool is again my 1/2 breaker bar from TTI. That thing has done some work in the last 10 years.. Plus a special mention to my 1 inch thick stainless drift from the wife's late grandad. That gets anything out of the way

Been thinking about a 3/4"Dr. TTI breaker bar with a 1-meter handle.
$149 seems reasonable.

When I chucked my last trolley jack I kept the handle, my 1" breaker is a perfect fit. I now have up to 1.8m long, thick, gripped breaker, what it can't crack is going to be a broken bolt any which way

My SnapOn 3/8ths ratchet. I love that these are a serviceable item.

What do you want to undo with that? I kept the handle off a big old trolley jack. If anything is to tight for my half inch breaker bar i slide the jack handle over it, it's about 1m long, and push This is where the 6pt koken sockets are worth their weight... Never slip, never break. And no bolt I've come across ever resists.

Don't have any 1"Dr. stuff, but inherited Dad's 3/4"Dr. set.
I have a set of impact sockets and 3/4" pneumatic rattle gun, now also have assorted Hazet and Stahlwille sockets and ratchets.
Need a long breaker, or knuckle bar for where the rattle gun doesn't fit.

Having worked in a few industries, some prices honestly don't surprise me.

Trying to remember if it was a 1 or 1&1/2 rattle gun we used to use (had to be hooked up to a pneumatic trailer to supply the air)
Along with all the massive spanners (around that 50-65mm sizing) that the container was loaded with.
And if you were to go price them up and figured out the value individually it was pretty nuts.

I guess its one of those things.
Until youve been in industry with specialist items you wont realise how much some things now cost.

Current work is looking at some testing equipment, and depending on what it is, getting change from $150-200k doesnt happen.

These are super handy for saving your back.

I got work to get one because the bolts for the teeth on the mill are 900nM and there are 60 of them. Gets old fast when you're rotating a set of teeth every 100 odd hours.

Definitely a socket set and I might add my least favourite are screw drivers as sometimes it seems I don't know how to use them

Please stop, you're sounding like my wife.

I am the one with a tool shopping/collecting problem I think.

I am keen for new house/new shed because that means I will *need* some new tools or more likely a new toolbox <3
