**** them, they make billions already. Creators also get benefits from the number of views, subscribers and comments to feed the algorithm. Ads during youtube video's are painful, the always seem to come on when someone is mid sentence or other inappropriate time. Makes watching very difficult sometimes and then lets not look over the fact that many video's also have sponsors and in-video advertising.

@Forcedvp try changing your IP address or run it through a VPN and see what happens.

Okay. I tried BRAVE browser with built in vpn and blockers. It works (sort of) It will play an ad before playing a video but cuts all the ads in the video. That was trying it on a doco type video of over 60mins where you would normally have 59mins of ads dotted throughout the vid. So not perfect but tolerable.
But I think you're right. Will try changing IP address and not signing in on YT.

I’ve had phone calls supposedly from the tax department stating I owe them lots of $$$ and I will be arrested and jailed unless I arrange payment today

So I tell them I can’t afford my heating, rent and food and will happily go to a warm place with decent food for a while so I can gain some weight

Why do they always hang up on me

Apparently there is an issue with my visa and I need to get in touch with the Chinese embassy immediately (”Press 1 for English, Press 2 for Chinese…”). Apparently I’ve been living a double life as a Chinese fugitive in Australia. It’s very exciting!

Yep get them calls as well. I will never hit #x to transfer somewhere as who knows how the phone system will work re charging,… probably get transferred to some silly premium site that charges $10 per minute or more and on some monthly subscription I just hang up as it’s not worth my dime playing with those scammers for fun
