[308] blue motor to 383 stroker

ok guys im gonna build a 383 stroker for my vh commodore whats the best way about about going around.

it thinking i should by a t700 and 304 out of a vn-vt go injection
im running straight gas and wanna keep it that way could go gas injection?

so i wanna know whats the best brand of stroker kit to go with
what manifold would you recommend
i would like my cam specs to be something with a good amount of torque and rev range
also being gas i can run a high comp

go from there :)

Everyone has totally different ideas on what is good and what is not. i would be starting by talking to the engine builder who is going to do all the work cos if you buy a crank he doesnt like, generally they will charge more for balancing etc just out of spite. weird bunch of people, builders.

stay away from procomp/eagle stuff.

try COME, crankshaft rebuilders, Scat etc

ok cool good advice thanks gas is great i never have troubles with it like i did with petrol

running on LPG means that you dont need to get your engine running;

1. correctly
2. efficiently
3. safely

the day you get your 383 back from the builder will mean you need to run your engine;

1. correctly
2. efficiently
3. safely

when your send your block to the builder... just for a laugh, tell him you plan on running it on LPG. itll be fun, then tell us what he said.
