Hi I have to replace the carpet in my 2007 ve Calais but was wondering does it need to be specific to the ve? Hope that makes sense. Thanks in advance

Yes it needs to be specific. The is a cut that needs to be made on the left side of the hvac on the trans tunnel. There is a serrated mark for this purpose there. Otherwise it’s dash and hvac out to replace the carpet.

I don’t see why the carpet would need replacing. It can be removed and pressure cleaned. Then wet vacced. Underlay replaced.
