Hi, My Crewman 6 stacker CD radio has stacked it, and deserves a decent burial. I was thinking of replacing it with an Apple CarPlay compatible head unit which can use the original steering wheel controls, and also offers a rear camera - either included, or as an option.
i’ve had a look at a few name brands, but I’m also looking sideways at the “no-name” evilbay brands, which are considerably cheaper. Ideally, my max budget for the head unit would be $500 (not including fitting - I can do that myself), but if I can buy something that does most or all of what I want it to do for under $200 (read eBay here) and the quality is useable, I’d consider that.
has anyone bought one of the no name cheap units that can give me an opinion on it, and/or what is available in the name brand low end that fits my budget?
thanks all.
