Hey guys,

Looking to install a 90L Drop Tank in my VS, but is there anything I need to know first?

Like do I need to have the fuel gauge calibrated or anything like that?

Or is it just a matter of swapping tanks?

Can I use my fuel pump/sender or will the one in the bigger tank be different?

Cheers,
Ben

The standard 73l long range tank will work fine. Just need to pull out the instrument cluster and flick the switch across so the DTE and things like that work.
Needs the proper sender.

Not sure on the 90l one, never looked into it.

Thanks for that mate, mine already displays DTE, is that switch so it knows that it has a larger fuel tank? Tank should also have the sender already in it, so I might just swap the fuel pumps and put it straight in like that.
