[NSW] Engine upgrades or a swap?

I wanted to go a different route everyone put's LS1 etc.. Into the VT's, VX's and such, Now my mind has been telling me to go a didn't route and do something with the 3.8L Ecotec, I was looking into upgrading the pistons conrods rockers and maybe getting a helltec for it and maybe a supercharger... Anyone got any ideas for something unique i don't want to go the same route and put a LS1 into it...

xr6 turbo is the way to go if you want it unique, would be better than modifying the holden v6.

XR6 Turbos are well and truly over done. Best thing to do is give it a freshen up and just keep driving it till it stops moving. Every person I have seen on here modifying a 6 to be different comes back some time after stating how much of a waste of time it was.
