In the entire GM empire, only Holden now builds large rear-drive cars.

Heh im sure they will. I wouldnt buy one if it wasn't. That is interesting hot the 0-100 times dropped. Is that due to all the heavy saftey features ie airbags etc? Perhaps emission controls aswell?

pmp-cal the cars just got fatter and Holden got lazy. Side intrusion laws and things like that made them heavier too. The VZ SV6 is the fastest V6 Commodore ever unless you are including the VS S/C, which is maybe even faster. You can take your pick between the VN/VP after that although everything points to the VN being quicker to 100. But the VL turbo is still the fastest 6cyl Commodore. The LJ XU1 is still the all time fastest 6 Holden have built

What does the VZ Sv6 do 0-100? Also, I have heard the 5.0l vn goes like a zirtec but it is only .6sec faster on the quater?

VZ SV6 can get the 0-100 done in about 6.9 I think. The 5 liter VN's go like a cut snake, Breaking 15 seconds on the quarter is possible in the light weight racing model (executive : ) ) That's a good half a second or more quicker than a really good stock V6

i have a vn V6 that did the standing 400 metres in 13.8 secs but on the second run it just sat there and bagged the tyres up (ended up doing a 19 sec run, then a 18.4, 18.6, 19.1, etc etc, cause the tyres wouldnt grip properly (damn :D ), what should i do to get better traction? i have 16inch wheels that are 8.5 wide so im told, everyone says to get the manual trans and diff from the group A, then theres a few who say get a borg warner lsd diff, what do you guys reckon would be the better cheaper option?
