gage drops down when lights or heater on

hi there put some saas gages in car oil and temp But when u put the lights on the oil temp trops off same with the heater or air con Has been wired up as per instructions Temp allgood Any ideas

where did you take your pos and ground from

one from the battery for the led colour the other from the fuse onthe cegarette lighter so it turns on off with ingnition Earthed sencor to body and guage to body as per instructions

added earths of battery sorry but no diffrence If i hit air con the guage drops right off then comes up abit

they say not to earth to motor in guage instructions But i all ways thought motor was earth to body any how

is there any way you can measure battery voltage before and when you switch lights on
do you get the gauge drop if you bring revs up to 2000rpm and hold ,and then switch lights on

yep can do got a muiti meter here Checked draw by takeing of neg and put pos of metre to it then neg to body came up at .1 of a volt draw Did try higher revs seem to make no diffrence but didnt do it for long will try again tomorrow night Cold in garage at moe lol Snow on the ground about 2degreese at the min
