[308] Gear box

I have a 95 vs 308 just brought it has 5 speed but is lazy to go into 4th and jumps out of 5th am I better to replace box or get fixed also have been told I should have ATF oil in it not manual oil is this true

What fluid you run is dependant on what 5 speed you have (Getrag or T5).

I believe the Getrag should use manual gear fluid and T5's should use ATF.

(Also you have a 304 not a 308)
