Look. These engines are pretty much at their best right now.

This forum and others are full of people pissing in our pockets about how they are going to do this and that and turns out it’s school holidays and some kid is dreaming and taking up our time.

First. What is your budget?

Or maybe I should tell you what your budget is.

It’s $25k. There you go.

There are SC kits if you want serious power but the cost is serious money too.

If you really like your VZ and want to keep it for a lot of years, then rather than go crazy with an SC, buy a low km wreck if you can find one and start stripping out all the modules and electrical switches. Because VZ parts will become NLA soon and keeping them on the road could become real tricky in another 10 years. VE's will follow soon after.

Focus on learning how to care for it. Far more positive lessons to gain.

Learn how to polish and paint correct.
Learn how to service it.
Learn how to redo a roof lining
Learn how to keep that car at its best.

Twin turbos. Super chargers. Cams. A CPR6 intake. Stroker.
A $25k budget still wouldn’t cut it for serious mods. You’ll easily blow 30-$50k to make it go to about 300kW.

Imagine spending $50k on an LS. You’ll be getting much more than that!

Then you try to resell a V6 for money that compares to an LS. Every sensible person will go the LS everytime. So you are left with an expensive V6 no one will pay for.
