[SOLVED] Hole in block for dipstick maybe?

I plugged it with my threebond cap and an oil gallery plug in the cap's thread, fits well cause its tapered like any normal silicon tube tip. Filled up the cap with silicon and a put a bit around the outside as well.

A bit of brass rod would do the job well. Cut off flush once it’s hammered in.

The Aussie V8's always had the dipstick straight into the side of the sump.
