if holden didn't exist what would own

lol this is a pretty unrealistic thread me thinks, people are saying if Holden hadn't made their $4,000 cars they would own a $30,000+ car or their $50,000 car a $90,000+ car (some examples).. I just can't understand the logic, or is this for a next car or something?

I've sold all my Holdens, looking at a VK EFI or VL for the next one (or possibly something older if it's not rooted), or a Toyota Cressida I6

go the cressida. love them. xd falcon with a 351 with 302 rods. xa/b/c coupe. tc cortina with turbo 6cyl. 318 charger (always liked that engine). rb25det or rb26dett skyline. i really want another morris 1100 but with a turbo 2ltr in it (they handle like a go-kart). a rotary capella. almost any corvette (they are so HOT). almost any american muscle car. but if i didn't have the wife and kids i'd get another motorbike, a R1 or a gsxr750.

For around the same money I spent on my VN, i'd have an early 90's Golf GTI.
