Hey there going to take the lock of to send it into the lock smiths Befor i start is there anything i should know about Been panel beating foe 40 years so know about the clock spring ect but never done a VT before so any info would b good and thanks in advance

The attached instructions from the Holden VT/VX Service Manual should help you:

The lock and ignition switch are easy. Won’t require clock spring removal.
Even repinning the new lock is something you can do at home. It’s straight forward.
I did a thread on it somewhere.
