Ok guys I have found out that my car is set up for towing, found on all four wheels ventilated discs, a secondary transmission fluid cooler, and mountings for load distribution hitches

What I think he meant by set up for towing is it's set up for being towed! :spot on:

3.9 used for heavy duties ? That explains why the engine is completely buggered.

Well last night was tightening the main cam to timing cog bolt and snapped the bolt, a big thanks to hakhawk for suggesting that I use ezy-outs,

ok guys here is the pictures of the leak at the back of the block and general pictures of the head and block, best one for where the leak is is the photo showing the new gasket on the block and zoom in to the back of th bloc and you sould see where the slit is:blah blah:

What did you use to clean the block and head surface before you put it back together?
