Well i finally got an SS! WooHoo
Ok, i have had many makes and model cars over the years but never an SS lol. (one of those bucket list things)

2000 VX SS Commodore

Motor:
Gen3 LS1

Transmission:
4spd Auto

Exhaust:
X-Force Exhaust

Suspension:
FE2 suspension

Paint:
Phantom Micra Black

Interior:
Black/Red Leather Door Cards
Chrome Door Handles
Leather Seat Skins with Red Stitching


Really bad pic as it is so dirty you can't tell the colour of it.

He wanted $11,500 and as the guy from Wheeler Dealer would say, "I think your being a bit cheeky at $11.5, how about $8? Sold...

So i got me an SS which runs nice, no ticking or noises but the Body and Interior are a bit sad.
Drove it home on a permit from Brissy to Southern Gold Coast, took 2.5hrs with slow traffic (normally 1.5hrs) and it went very well.

The Drivers Seat is almost gone but the rest is ok.
If you look it is just the stitching which has let go, you might be able to save and rebuild it.... But i have another idea.

Found these on eBay, $1600 for a full set of Front n Back
Leather skin to replace the material original skin.

Once the interior is sorted i will get a set of wheels, same as my Profile Pic
Vertini Gold Drift 19x8.5 19x9.5 Rims 235/19/35 265/19/30 Tyres

Will give it a wash tomorrow and get some more pics...

Congrats, that's a great price. I also loved and wanted the staggered Gold Vertini Drift, struggled getting the correct offset though, which is why I settled for the yeah bud Simmons

Found a box of bit in the boot.... new elect aerial. blinker, heaps of pulleys, spark plugs, sump plug, trans kit and oil, air filter...

I had them on my VZ and took a shine to them, not into black rims. With the Red Calipers it looks good i feel and will do the same on this one.

Is that from Cams Leather?
He does some great stuff and the leather is 100x better than factory.

Thinking i might find another set of seats (standard VX/VY) and slip the leather on to them and do something with the originals i got now, refurbish and sell....

You can revive the seat foams with a garment steamer. New leather and that interior will be looking like a rat with a gold tooth.
