304 retro-fit knock sensor

My comment was incorrect about it being a v6 knock board.
Not sure what made me think that maybe I was really tired or something who knows.
1F is a v8 knockboard. I have a few pulled off v8 memcals.

Gonna drag this thread up from the dead, and might have some dumb questions.

Deuce, did you ever end up putting the knock sensor in? Did you have any trouble getting it to work?

Nah, never did.
I think the knock system is too slow and aggressive, but could be wrong.

Thanks dude, I have a 185chip which I was tempted to use (it has the knock sensor board on it - came out of a HSV) but i might have a look at re-tuning my current 165 chip to something better instead.

It's not very good, I guess because it was an afterthought to a 30 year old engine, it probably could have been implemented better.

If you have a bigger cam a lot of tuners will unplug it because it gives false knock readings, not really that great.
