Was cruising around on the mini trucking forums and one guy was looking at installing a rear window that opens on his ute/truck. Long story short ...

Found this site with the "retro" rear window that opens for my ute .

Has anyone tried these before or even heard of this mob ?
and what do people reckon out this mod ?

you make me want =P

you should definately do it and let us know how it goes.
but how well does it actually lock.
you would probably have to get it tinted.

tbh its a cheap alternative to a sunroof isnt it =P

I had one of these on a F100 I had years ago. Could not stop I from rattling & in winter, the cold air blows straight down the back of your neck. I ended up glueing the mofo closed with sikaflex.

I was thinking about these yesterday for a VE since the VE already has the El Camino look to it.
It would be awesome on hot days, but completly pointless any other time, and I would worry about what showbags said with the rattles, but cant be to hard just to whack the factory window back in if it does.
