recently picked up a new weekend toy.

'08 Senator SV08
Build #18
Manual :driving:

all the 'usual' mods
OTR, mafless tune, etc.
237/242 113 LSA cam
Lunati tie bar lifters
NPC single plate clutch
DiFilippo Twin 3" exhaust
DiFilippo headers
22" Pentagons
Accuair airbag setup

i'm sure a few will recognise it, and some wont like it, but it will be getting a few changes under my ownership to personalise it a bit more. coloured tyre walls have been removed/new tyres fitted, brake calipers will get a touch up and some new wider 20" wheels will replace the 22's.

previously made ~480rwhp, has been toned back a little to a respectable but safe 440rwhp.

Is this the one that was wrapped light blue? I love the SV08, My Dad nearly bought a manual in VooDoo blue!! Only 50 made and 30 of those were manual I believe. Digging the bags but not the 22's, although the stock Pentagons look great on them.

There alot of people in the states running 10/11" wide wheels on their G8s. Not many or much info online in Australia tho, there is a great wheel thread on the G8 board tho which ill inbox you the link.

That's the one.

There was 30 auto, 20 manual. A contact suggests there is only about 12 of the manual SV08's currently registered, so 8 have been destroyed or tucked away...

I like the 22's, but would much prefer a set of concave 20x10's (or even 11" rear) to stick a bit more rubber under it. I've got 22's on my VE wagon too, so something different would be nice.

Cheers for the link, has confirmed what I thought will fit, just need to decide if I want to have the same size all round or not.

I know the one we nearly bought gets driven only for its service intervals (so that's ever 12 months I think) and the kilometers are super low. Close but I had the 20 manuals, 30 autos back to front.

I hope those other SV08's are just unregistered because their a great looking car!!!

Hopefully sooner than later! Apparently I need to sell some of my 4 sets of wheels before buying new ones the wife tells me...

It doesn't, it's the switch speed setup at the moment. Although all I need to do is add the wheel height sensors and it effectively becomes the e-level kit, which is the first thing I'll be doing to it as it enables a whole bunch of other features such as self levelling, raising to ride height at startup, etc.
