This is why I find it hard to believe you're a mechanic. Zero engineering curiosity and wonder. While I won't live to see the most amazing things that will come from this like colonisation of the solar system, it's an amazing time to be alive.

SpaceX is responsible for more innovation in 15 years than any space agency in half a century, noting it is on the back of those giants. Innovation that can flow through to every part of our cushy, safe existence. On its second launch, it nearly made delta v. The largest most powerful rocket in mankind's history, using full flow, closed cycle engines that run on universally common fuel and its third launch will very likely make orbit. Also that Starlink 'crap' is bringing health, education and commerce to every corner of the globe for a fraction of the cost and time of coax and fibre. The downside though is more junk in LEO

No space x has done nothing, do you want a blood test machine?

All you guys saying trump is a phony, well so is this grifter.

Now you are starting to sound jealous.

A grifter that is the richest man in the world.

Clearly you are living on a different planet and taking some really cool drugs.

And more misinformation spread far and wide.

At least those starlink satellites tend to drop out of orbit and burn up in the atmosphere as they are relatively low and have a finite life span.
I'd like to believe there's plenty of humans who focus on how to think not what to think. The irony is those who innovated the world and know how to think made it possible for those who are told what to think to thrive

If Elon gets his 42k satellites deployed it's going to rather congested up there, they'll need some good tracking and decay strategies

Name another in aerospace that has been as innovative as SpaceX has in the last 20 years? Their reusable boosters have brought the cost of LEO launches down considerably.

Starship will work, and that will make those launches even cheaper again. Then you've got asteroid mining and planet colonization to come.
