Figured i would make a thread on her as she will be mine soon enough (goal is this year)
1968 Chevy Impala
Transmission: Powerglide
Engine: 327 Small Block (Numbers matching)
interior: Cloth, Blue and still in decent condition
Body: 4 - Door with Pillars, is mostly in good shape, but has a dent on the passenger side door
Paint: Back - showing it's age and would need to be redone in the future some time
original plates as well. hoping to keep them on when i register.
my Grandpa is the third owner and has known the full history of this car. first it was his boss that got it in 1968, a co-worker got it from the boss and then finally my grandpa paid his co-worker for it... Apparently the co-workers wife gave him an ultimatum between the Impala and her................ he probably should have kept the car and thrown out the wife (jokes)
once i heard my grandpa was going to sell her, and others were trying to low ball him, i knew i had to step in and keep it in the family. can't wait to get this thing on the road
