VE Holden Commodore - Release Date

As i have stated elsewhere, after speaking to our dealer principal he has informed staff that cars will arrive in showrooms in July, on sale in august, with the statesman to follow in august/september

Denny mooney was in our dealership today, and said the following:

* Commodores in Showrooms Late July/Early August
* Statesman in Showrooms Late August/Early September
* Commodore looks quiet different to CGI's we have seen
* All CGI's of Statesman are very wrong and car is much better looking
* New Captiva in Showrooms in Late August/Early September
* New Vectra Replacement in showrooms Late September/Early October
* No name yet chosen for Vectra replacement

If these reports of massive amounts of stock are true.. expect some good deals 3-4 months down the road when they are flooded with cars they are struggling to move

good od idea, then they can't try to release that ugly pink thing they tried to pass off as one.

The original Torana's IMO were small cars (hey you be a large person trying to sit in the back.. doesn't work, even in a bigger UC ) based on a Vauxhall Viva.. so if there's going to be a 2007 Torana it would have to be a Barina :\ at least that's what I reckon (I know, I know - SL/R 5000 with big 5.0 litre)..

They should stop killing the names of good cars - Torana had racing pedigree and was designed with the intention of racing as a second design element (homologation!).. The new Monaro is based on a Commodore which is a controlled racing category and inaccurate in comparison to the cars being sold (500bhp 5.0 litres with no interior).. disgraceful
