Boot button is as old as the current keys almost.. I know it's on my 97 vs at least... that's a good 9 years and I don't see why it wouldn't be on s1 vs... so 11 years...

Yeah the current keys are crap....I reckon they should have remote start on the key as well for Calais

Well it is basically wank factor, but I got it in my alarm for cold mornings, and hot afternoons.

i hope they have a flick style key like on the Astra. Hope it also remotley winds the windows up and down like the astra does

Well....um....it...ok fine it has no purpose other than showing off. But its a cool accessory. If mercedes etc. can have it why cant a Calais? & its not exactly expensive, I got mine installed for $50...n the little car on the animated screen emits puffs of smoke when it starts......n its good fun doing it in a carpark when ppl are walking past and watching them stare inside the car looking for some1 with this bewildered look on their face :rofl:

aahhh so remote start is not illegal ???? Wierd..... Cus the early girls get defected for keys not staying in the ignition or even being able to start without a key... & yet remote starting is okay???
