hey guys, my first post here :) I just purchased a VF SS ute and im looking to make it sound more like a V8 hahaha
i dont have a lot of money to spend and to be honest i dont know much about cars :( I m looking for a grunter sound but not to the point where it is annoying while driving!

can i change the rear mufflers to a different type ?

any advice would be great

He said he doesn't have a lot of money to spend so KPM's $2200 cat back is probably going to be out of reach.

You could always throw an intake at it and pick up the induction roar while keeping it nice and quiet when you aren't standing on it, intakes aren't expensive although I'd probably avoid an OTR in case it throws an engine light (assuming you don't want to tune it), something like the roto-fab G8 intake would be perfect assuming it fits the VFs which I imagine it does. Ultimately the cheapest solution instead of changing both rear mufflers would probably be to change the centre muffler to something smaller.

I do the Manta catback that is probably one of the best sounding systems. $1195 shipped.

Hey first v8
The x force get a bad wrap every where so be warned. I'm going the Walkinshaw catback for $2300. From all reports it sounds the best

Manta approx $1100 - $1200...
XForce approx $700 - $800...
Alot different to $2300 just because of a "name".
