Bridgestones have next to no protection. The rubber barely protrudes 5mm past the face of the rim.

I notice on my cheap spare Kenda it's almost double that.

Any decent brand tyres in this size that offer a bit more protection ?

Michellin ? Continental ? Pirelli ?
