Hi Guys,
Have problem with my Walky.
Engine fires for about 2 secs and dies. Have attached a fuel pressure gauge in the fuel inlet before the rail and initially not holding pressure when pump priming. Replaced the HP fuel pump and Fuel Pressure Regulator which was leaking. Now holds 40 psi no problem but engine still only fires for about 2 secs. When it does its still still holding 40 psi.
Have done an engine management check with code 12 coming up so would appear no problem with ECU.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Has it been sitting for a while?

Yes for about a year but I drained the tank and put in fresh fuel if that is what you were going to ask. Thanks

Yep, it's something to do with the car sitting for a while... Could be something as simple as a starter motor, battery or alternator as it's been sitting for a while... Have you checked the voltage on these items?

Hmm... Do you know of any Facebook groups that own Walky's that might be able to help? Is it a genuine one?

Any other members that can help?

It sounds to me like it's a security system problem but I'm really not familiar with their EFI system to give any advice.

You could try the PCM Hacking forum, there are a few guys there who I think may know a little more about it.

It's definitely the manifold causing your issue.
I'll happily trade you my COME TTB manifold for it to help you out.

No seriously, I would be looking at the IAC.
Like it's letting it start and then not adjusting correctly to keep sufficient airflow so it dies.
Can you keep it running longer with a little action on the throttle pedal?
