VP eurovox radio code

Hi all, does anyone know how to reset a eurovox radio/cassette out of a VP commodore,
unfortunately I have no log book with the vehicle but an ID number on the unit itself.
ive tried the last and first four digits on the 6 digit code of the ID number with no success.
I called the local holden dealership but they want around $40 to supply it. The radio is a 6616 model. Any help will be appreciated.

Try 323265, that was the code for my VP Calais.

Cheers for your reply, unfortunately though, mine is only a 4 digit code required to enter.

At toyota years ago dealership I was at charged $50 for code....it was usually last digits of chassis number.

If nothing in log book or cant guess it you either pay dealership or eurovox but if it's not original radio to that car ouch

Ok cheers, Ive had plenty of guesses so far but haven’t tried the chassis number. I’ll give it a crack. Will post if it’s a success in next day or two.

Don't call your dealer ring Holden customer service. I did this for my vx and they gave radio code free.

I just called Holden customer care…
They took all my details to match ownership and then told me to contact my local dealership to acquire the code….. after paying for it !!

What the... I wasn't joking they give the code out. Maybe it's changed since I called last? 1800 033 349?

Yeah unfortunately, after all the rigmarole giving all my details…. They said to contact the dealership.
Yes that’s the correct number I called today too. Thanks anyway.
