Don't call, drop in and take your rego papers If they still want $50 argue the point and say $50 for five mins on a computer. Failing that ask to speak to the manager that's pretty poor.

I agree, considering I have one of my vehicles serviced at the dealership under warranty! I did tell them this but was still told it would cost me.
I’m just trying to revive an old commy back to factory condition.
I’m not asking for the vault code to the GM bank account!!!!
Just a lousy 4 digit code for a stereo….

I know this is over a month ago but I managed to hack out the code from a VS radio the long way.
Made a excel sheet with all possible 4 digit numbers and found the 2 pads that reset the lockout for when you enter the wrong code 3x and sat down and took me 4 hours solid but got the code.
There is 1294 variations of the code starting from 1111 to 6666 I went from 1111 till I found it at 5112 - yes a long 4 hours and cramped fingers from typing but it is doable.

Should of started 6666 & worked back. May have only taken 1/2 hour? ;)

Convenient having an S.A code when you live in S.A :)

What would be real freaky is if you live in Elizabeth, which has that postcode 5112
