VP V6 won’t start after trying to jump start it

I’ve tried jump starting my car had it going for a bit then stalled now the jump starter is saying short circuit but cannot find a blow fuse under steering wheel and don’t know how to diagnose the ones under bonnet ect.

The actual jump starter is short circuited. They are usually short circuit protection on them?
Have you connected the jump leads wrong way ?

Ahh okay and I didn’t have leads around the wrong way, it had no battery in it and they might have touched is what I’m thinking I have put it on a different car and a at jumps it fine

never try to run a fuel injected car without a battery, the battery smooths out voltage spikes
which can damage the computers

Cooked modules from a short are never going to be fun to find.
