VR diff gears

Are 3.08 diff gears still readily available for a VR solid rear axle? I cannot find any, google isn’t my friend.

Wreckers will have heaps of them. No one much wants 3.08 gear sets.

I don't think you'll find a new set but there should be used sets. Where about in NZ are you?

I might have a used set, came out of a VN and only had about 120,000km on em. Were quiet when we put in the 3.45 gears. But I'll have to go searching.

Proper BW gear sets last a very long time. A factory SH set will be better than a rattly aftermarket set. Factory gears are superior to the best AM ones which are Motive.
