Vs calsis

Hey guys and gals, I'm doing some suspension work on a vs Calais and am replacing all the brake rotors and pads. When I took the rear discs off the hand brake components were all pretty rusty. I took the shoes off and dissembled it to clean and rebuild it.
The springs on the bottom of the shoes broke when I was removing it.
Does anyone know where I can get new ones? I can seem to find them anywhere.

sadly you cant get new ones anymore all you can do try a brake business , wreckers repco other spare part stores or last resort for hard to get parts is vr/vs owners group on facebook

Vn-Vs are the same. I went to speciality fasteners last time I needed one, they had a spring almost identical. It's not made for the car it's just a spring that suits a fairly simple job

no but you can do irs rear hub conversion to fit vt- vz and parts are easier to get and the hand brake works a lot better

I tried to get replacement springs made by a spring manufacturer, took a sample out there in February was quoted $80 which I agreed to as I couldn't find them anywhere else. I am still waiting.
Found some at upullit the other day i good nick...$4.

VS Calais has IRS as standard.

I'll add to the $4 price, it took me the best part of an hour to get the bastards off, I would have prefered to pay the $80 lol.

Ok thanks for that. I'll see if I can find some the right size somewhere or might just head to the wreckers.

Also does anyone have any idea where to get new diff carrier bolts and rear shock bolts from?
