Download it as it is. You need the file structure. It must be downloaded to a PC or Mac. Won’t work on phones or iPads. Use a pdf reader. Enable the side bar.
Open the file marked “start here”
Navigate from there.

My copy of this is a bit dicky. I've tried re-downloading it, but it just won't let me navigate properly. I find the best way to find what I'm looking for is to do a search of all the files in the folder:
(In Adobe) Select Menu at the top left of screen> Search> Advanced Search> All PDF documents in> Select folder> [Navigate to where you have saved the folder-should be called GMH_SIP1]> Enter word or phrase in search box [eg: heater core]> Search

My copy of this is a bit dicky.
I had the same problem.
The solution for me was to get Adobe reader 9.
Its a earlier copy.
I uninstalled the later copy first.

Since l installed Adobe reader 9, it works perfectly. Its never worked as good.

Probably takes about 7 just to get to the stereo. I'd say 15-20 to get the whole thing off.
I thought he was referring to the back of the cluster?

He said "dashboard fascia", so I presumed he meant the fascia - as in, the whole front of the dash.

Same. The whole dashboard out.

If it’s just the instruments, it’s four screws and it’s out in 1min 24seconds.

Is that your best time, or the recognised Guiness World record time, or just the average time recorded by you and your mate Des when you were bored and knocking back beers one Saturday?

I'm picturing a whole thing now, like the Annual Cluster Removal Championship. There's two divisions, the cordless drill division and the manual screwdriver division. All entries must be filmed for verification. There's an online table of entries and their recorded times and a perpetual trophy... looks like this:

Your official time is immortalised for the year by setting the RPM and km/h clocks to your time, as shown in the example.

Yes, I absolutely have better things I could be doing with my time.

Does it have to be unplugged?

I don’t think you could get a drill in there. I’ll be doing mine manually.

You're right, some of the screw locations are difficult, potentially impossible to get a drill into, but you're also possibly not using a long enough screwdriver bit, and they do make various attachment doovahickeys for accessing awkwardly located screws. This is one I've been considering purchasing, and this one I just bought, but haven't given it a go yet:

Figured it'd be good for awkward spots where it's impossible to get to a screw end-on, but you could approach it from the side because you'll have more clearance, IYKWIM. I used to have one of these, but they're a pain to use because you can't put any downward pressure on it, it's just tricky to keep in place while it's in use and they break easily.
That's enough tips for you. Can't have you gaining an unfair advantage. If you insist on going with the hand tool division, I'd recommend a ratchet mechanism screwdriver.
