have you linked your replacement ecu to the bcm
has serv error now gone away

how do i link it, i don’t have access to a scan tool for now at least, yes the serv error has gone away, the car now cranks over a couple times then stops and the fuel pump now primes.

you will need your bcm security code and a scan tool to link in the replacement ecu

righto, what scan tools do you recommend if i were to buy one on a budget, also where would i find the bcm security code?

if you have your owners books, there is a little credit card inside with the number
otherwise a trip to holden with proof of ownership
as you need a scan tool as well
probably easiest to tow car to holden and have them link it

With the vident i400au scan tool l have, if l scanned the bcm, it'll give the security no.

Scan bcm, programming, get bcm security no.
I just went & done it. They where the steps l did.

ok the vident might be a good deal for you as you will get a bonus scan tool for similar money as taking to holden
