I have just recently done the long drive from W.A to NSW with no issues with my car. But in the past week, after driving down a stupid unpaved road, I accidentally hit a couple unavoidable potholes.. since then I have had a pretty strong wobble in the steering and pulling to the right.
I thought it was a wheel alignment that was needed, and was going to get it done this week.. but whilst driving home just now I turned the corner to the left and heard a single knock like something fell on the floor in the car. Then when I was reversing left in my driveway I heard clunking noise coming from the front passenger wheel area.
I have a suspicion it's the tie rod end. But haven't had a chance to look as yet.

I'm hoping one of you might have some idea. I'm hoping not to spend too much money. And that I can do it myself.. fingers crossed.

Thanks in advance

First I would have a look under the car to see if there is anything obvious that is causing the front end noises,
Damaged Under Body parts,

See if any various parts of the Suspension and/or Steering are lose or bent.
My first thought would be -
Tie Rod ends
Lower suspension arm bushes
Z Arms Bushes
Stabilizer bar Bushes and/or Link Arms
Steering Rack and/or Bushes
Tower Bearings/Bushes.

I know I had a lot of parts replaced before I left W.A. but I have a suspicion Tie Rod end wasn't one of them.
Hmm I will have to get under the car tomorrow and check everything.
Thankyou

Darn cars always have an issue when you need it the most lol.

Passengers side is cracked right around. Drivers side is half cracked. I'm really hoping this is all the issue I can afford to replace them lol
