Well with vacuum lines like that, there was your problem.

You can replace them with a new part easy and cheap. The throttle body line, might be best to cut it off.

You can replace them with vacuum hose from the shop. Cut appropriate sections and fit them to the plastic pipe and then squeeze them over the barbs from the intake plenum. It works.

Here is the part. This is a Holden dealer on eBay.

The whole line from the plenum to the throttle body.

I would also be doing the PCV mod. If those lines are in that state, I hate to the what state the PCV is in. If that is blocked, it would do all sorts of mischief to performance.

I think sorting this stuff alone will resolve much of your issue. You’d have had vacuum leaks all over the show. There would be a lot of un metered air coming in and throwing out sensor data.

How many chuggas come before choo choo? That's the inside joke between me n my vz right now.. Runs fine cold but when its at normal temp going uphill it jerks continuously in no set rhythm unless i give it enough toe to change gear.. and if i give it half a go from a stop its litteraly like this " 1st second of acceleration... i think i can, 2 second.. yes i can and by the 3rd second im half way to the bloody moon with normal performance kicking in.. Or chugga chugga choo choo as i think is more accurate pissing me tf off so i gotta laugh about it.. Anyone had the same issue before? 6cyl alloytec granny spec done 175xxxkm runs great otherwise
have you fixed the issue?
