VZ SS TR6060 swap starter issue

G'day

I just did manual swap TR6060 on my 2006 VZ SS LS1, the starter don't spine it makes noise but the crank isn't spinning, I'm not sure if the LS1 automatic starter won't work with the LS3 flywheel, what should I do? get LS3 starter? if so will a 2007+ caprice 6.0 work with my application?
