Title's a bit misleading? He got fined for no license and no registration. Fines had nothing to do with the solar panels.

Car was said to have had no number plates. I think that was enough to pull him over. I didn't see any mention of a fine for solar panels. Now had he had a BBQ on the boot that would have been a reason to pull him over.
