Wirng loom VK VL

Is the full loom for a vl rb30 much different from the vk efi 6 like the dash, heater etc... could i get away with it

and what about the v8 vk loom with the efi wires for the ecu and injectors and speedo cable from my old loom, or could i even use a vn loom if i do the V6 conversion

any help much appreciated

VK 6 & VL 6 are COMPLETELY different harnesses, except a few industry standard plugs ie fuel injector plugs etc.

VK V8 was never EFI all were carbie.

What are you wanting to do, wire up an EFI 5L into the car? or V6?

sorry to be confusing im not the best at explaining,

I need to put the EFI 202 in and my old loom for the dash has be butchered but the efi part of the loom like the ecu plug and the injector plug is still good. now that i know the vl loom wont work would a VK carby v8 loom work for the dash, heater and lights etc and i use the efi part off my old loom for the engine, would i get away with that

I think I know what your on about
Any VK loom behind the dash will work.
Engine bay looms are specific to model carb 6, efi 6, v8

If your after a complete dash loom I know someone that has a complete EFI 6 being wreaked.

thanks mate, there is someone selling his v8 loom near me for $150 so ill take it then.
so basically all i need to get my efi 202 running is the loom for the engine bay that i can take off my old one
