Looking to get an idea of the cost and time involved in converting from Carby to Aftermarket EFI for the Black 202.
1) What are the recommended systems/brands to use?
2) Expected Cost of all parts
3)How much work is required?
4)What power gains can be expected?
Thanks in Advance
The title says it all, could you fit let's say an aftermarket cam or lifters or whatever that is built for the "3800 V6" in the states to the Australian motor?
I didn't ask whether or not you thought putting a tacho in was a good idea or not. Dash Cluster has already been pulled out it ain't going back in.
As for the threads, already been through them. The whole point of this was to have someone who had the same issue, answer my question, not link me...
Currently trying to connect a SAAS Muscle Series Tacho to a VX Ecotec. Tried pretty much every wire that has power to it in the ignition module as well as wires near the firewall and a few others. The Tacho just sits at 1200 rpm and doesn't fluctuate at all. Any ideas or just a faulty tacho?
My VX commodore ecotec will fire and run but at most it will only run for 2-3 seconds. I believe I can hear the fuel pump working. Engine was running fine but all of a sudden it wouldn't start. Any ideas or fixes?
Thanks
