Joining the ZB crew - 2019 LT 2.0L long term review thread.

Car has been running flawless, about to book in 107,000 km service. Going to go with Holden dealer this time, as paint is starting to go at the edge of the top of the windscreen, which from other posts, they may fix up under good will even if out of warrant (which mine is now) - had horrendous...

VF S2 or ZB, what to buy

Have had a LT wagon for about 2 years. Still has a massive boot and can fit heaps of stuff from bunnings trips etc, tows well with a 6x4. The get up and go for the 4cyl is super nice in mid range and you get a nice little turbo induction. I am an absolute lead foot and the fuel consumption is...

Just an update - one (possible) issue has popped up with suspension. The rear end seems to feel like its driving around with weight in the boot without anything in the boot. Isn't sagging at all from what I can tell on the outside. All of a sudden it just has this weird dampened feel at the...

Just started getting the annoying shift to P error. Only a couple of presses on the gearstick and it goes away, still annoying, probably only pops up 10% of the time. Will most likely try get my next service with the Holden dealer that is local to see if it can be a warranty claim as just under...

I have been doing a fair bit of renos and work on the house and have found the following: -Boot is accessible, I have just chucked down a heavy old blanket I have when loading concrete bags, concrete blocks etc to make it clean -max timber length is approx. 2.4m inside the car I have been using...

Update: -Reliability (including maintenance costs/parts availability/component life/warranty etc.) -> Got the software update for the recall last year with the local dealer and was seamless, good service -> I am now up for the first service (84000 km interval) and I couldn't even get booked in...

    Banging noise under drivers eat

ZB LT wagon, sounds like something is sliding under the drivers seat when braking and accelerating, anyone had this? Had a look under the car and cant see anything that would be moving around.

I can't stop smashing the pedal on this thing, have never owned a turbo and just hearing the noises it makes when accelerating is awesome, hasn't got much of a note, very subtle, but is addictive

Lol cup holders are fine as long as the cup is snug, and not too full. Lucky the liquid mess is contained inside the cup holder if/when it spills

Thread got hijacked bad. Ah well I will continue my thoughts. Good stuff: -Best feature of the car so far has been the speed limiter, I use it all the time, so good at keeping under the speed limit, yet still allows to have fun accelerating up to that limit. -Went for a hike out in the bush and...

Further thoughts: The cargo space is awesome in the zb wagon, I am about 5'11" and rolled out a mattress and slept in it the other night whilst camping, actually wasn't too bad. Fuel consumption - I am pretty consistently getting 9.0-9.5 L/100km, ave speed of about 40km/h. Bit higher than...

Loving the car, used to using android auto now, still miss the kayhan but does the job. One big gripe though, no height adjustment on the passenger seat, what were they thinking. Will most likely end up grabbing a pair of front seats from the upper models.

Didn't want to dish out over $100 for a cargo mat so just gut an anti slip mat from Bunnings for $50 and cut to suit, works a charm.

Ended up buying a 20cm high speed usb cable and it works perfectly. Will see how long it lasts before I pull the trigger on the wireless module, still need to get cargo liner, net etc so slowly building it up.

Just discovered the speed limiter today, game changer. Really easy to use and allows for quick acceleration straight to the speed limit without having to focus on the speedo too much.

Update: -Ability to haul gear - does the job however like any wagon will need a cargo matt and a net to secure items, really loving my first wagon though, already loaded a few items in thinking, this would be complicated/ impossible in a sedan boot, win. -Vehicle enjoyment - loving the...

The Ford BA XR6 was a better car than the ZB

The truth, I always wondered about getting an sv6, however test drove them and didn't like the power delivery for a 6. Never got enough cash together to get a clubbie tourer which was the dream. Do miss the mighty barra.

The Ford BA XR6 was a better car than the ZB

Just stumbled across this post and had to weigh in as someone who just came from a BF XR6 to a ZB LT. ZB is miles ahead in terms of comfort, smoothness, keeping the missus happy and feels way quicker off the line, however: -Barra is soooo easy to work on -Mods/parts galore -Charm

Thanks legend, I wonder if its a universal issue with Android Auto when using USB, apparently there is a setting "Start Android Automatically" that can stuff it up if its not set to "Always". Yet to try though. Will definitely look into getting the dongle. Then if I get the dongle, the next...

Hey team, I thought I would start this as a long term review of a 2019 LT 2.0L commodore wagon. Came from owning a 2006 Falcon XR6 which I had a lot of fun with, however had to move on from that to this, my first commodore. Why I chose it: -Wagon trim - trying for kids, so spacious interior...

Help me decide what wagon to buy!! SS vs Clubsport

Awesome thoughts, appreciate it. Ye interstate may be the way to go, I have always had my eye on carsales and seems like R8 tourer manuals have always been a little bit scarce, so will need to pounce when they come up. Help me decide what wagon to buy!! SS vs Clubsport

True, ye LSA might be a bit of a stretch, I am leaning towards manual for sure, not convinced about getting a performance car with auto, open to being convinced that the sports autos can still be fun. Ye I think waiting might be the game I have to play at this stage.

Help me decide what wagon to buy!! SS vs Clubsport

Hey all, first post on the forum. I would love to hear from those who have owned SS or clubbie wagons. I have a budget of about 30k and from what I can gather from carsales research, my options are: >100k km VFI SS Wagon (Possibily stretching to 35k) - Auto Only 150k km 2008 R8 Clubsport Wagon...
